About the Author
Petra Perkins writes memoir, fiction, poetry, essay, humor, and interviews from her home in Colorado. She is an award-winning author having won in the Faulkner-Wisdom writing competition numerous times (the Gold Medal in 2015) as well as other contests in most literary genres. Petra is a former columnist for Crone magazine and has also published (or will soon be) in the Huffington Post, The Rumpus, Brain,Child Magazine, Crone Magazine, Manifest-Station, The Double Dealer, The Denver Post and The Rocky Mountain News, several literary and art journals and blogs.
